As a departure from the traditional wooden tripod, we now offer the most versatile mount that has ever been manufactured. No other type of mount allows viewing from a sitting level of 45" (lowest level of 37" for table-top use) to a full standing height of 62" with various stops in between. This timeless masterpiece requires only 20" of floor or window space and is extremely stable at all heights. The main telescope tube and base column are covered in fine glove leather. The "Queen Anne" style legs make this a truly beautiful telescope.

A beautiful gem quality chrome instrument with its elegant black and chrome tripod. Crystal clear optics featuring our roof prism erecting system plus an objective lens that is photographically and color corrected to the highest standard. Exceptionally smooth focusing at your finger tips with no gear driven blacklash.

Each "d'elegance"telescope requires no less than 5 hours of hand polishing, followed by copper plating over the solid brass components, then followed by nickel plating. Hand polishing after each step completes the gleaming chrome finish.
