Ahoy! We are a unique nautical antiques shop located in Sunset Beach, California, founded by Eric Bakker. For over 50 years, Antiques of the Sea has been satisfying the needs of nautical and marine antique collectors, as well as the requirements of decorators of homes/businesses and film/television production crews. Amazing pieces from our shop were used in the 2020 US Navy thriller ‘Greyhound‘, starring Tom Hanks. Click here to read about it.
We offer a huge assortment of nautical antiques and collectibles. You have to see it to believe it! Our shop is home to lanterns, lamps, nautical prints, ship models, bells, compasses, clocks, diving helmets, steering stations and more. Also, we have a large selection of marine themed gift items as well as World War 2 and US Navy keepsakes.
Because we’re the only nautical antiques shop in Sunset Beach, locals have come to deeply treasure our special selection of museum-quality collectibles not found elsewhere. Come visit us at our coastal location off Pacific Coast Highway. We’re currently only accepting appointments.
