Vintage Brass U.K. Buoy Light – 1920’s

34″ CIRCA 1920’s VINTAGE LARGE ORIGINAL BRASS U.K BUOY LIGHT STILL WITH ORIGINAL PAINT & ORIGINAL GAS LIGHTING CONTROL

In near original condition. Weighs an incredible 145 lbs. Stands 36″ tall. Still has the original Fresnel lens. Made in England. Lights like this kept ships from running aground. In WW II, the Germans frequently shot out these life saving beacons, hoping to cripple Allied ships hauling supplies to and from Britain.
